On sale for $395 (was $430), the latest entry-level iPad model (128GB/Wi-Fi model) has the same impressive 10.2-inch screen, an Faster Touch ID fingerprinting and 3GB of memory than the latest version, but it features a faster processor. You’ll notice — and appreciate — the speed with any video, website, or game. (For the tech-savvy, the speed comes from Apple’s A12 Bionic chip). To say this thing is popular is an understatement: it has a ridiculous 33,000 five-star reviews!
“Love it! It’s quick and easy to use and it’s super affordable compared to other models,” wrote one happy Amazon buyer. “The screen is beautiful and the image quality is excellent…It’s like having a mini laptop everywhere I go. Perfect for students, the screen quality is amazing and the battery lasts all day.”
The Apple iPad Air (Wi-Fi only), on sale for $559 – a $40 discount – is the “fair” model in the iPad family. It’s faster and more powerful than the entry-level model, thanks to its A14 Bionic chip (compared to the standard A12 chip), and it’s smaller and lighter than the iPad Pro — just a pound, compared to the Pro’s heaviest 1.41. pound sterling. It may not seem like much, but when you hold it for a long time, you will feel the difference.
“…It’s a little faster, a little thinner, a little lighter, and a little brighter than any tablet I’ve used before,” shared a happy Amazon buyer. “But, taken as a whole – and taken with the second-generation Apple Pencil – it feels like an entirely new experience. I haven’t been so smitten with a new device in a while…it’s a great little device, it fits right into my workflow I think the highest praise I can give it is that it’s amazing how quickly it actually disappeared: within days of using it , I stopped noticing it, because everything about writing and taking notes with the iPad and pencil was like second nature, it felt like it had always been there.”
On sale for $800 (was $899) — its lowest price yet — the Apple iPad Pro (Wi-Fi only) comes with a larger 11-inch Retina display (the standard version and the ‘iPad Air have a 10-inch screen) and 256GB of built-in storage instead of 64GB, so it’s more powerful and faster too. In almost every way it’s bigger, faster, cleaner and sleeker.
“This device is totally out of this world,” wrote one delighted five-star reviewer. “Even with normal use (browsing and switching between apps), it’s blazing fast…You get the best tablet if you prefer speed, multitasking and gaming.”
Want something with more screen real estate? Apple has another iPad Pro (Wi-Fi only) model on sale for $999, or $100 off, which comes with a larger 12.9-inch screen (up from 11). Now you’ll have a ton of space to get the job done. And buyers say it’s even more powerful than Apple’s MacBook Pro.
“Amazing! The perfect device for work and play,” shared one savvy Amazon shopper. “The power of this portable device (despite being large) is staggering. More powerful than my state-of-the-art MacBook Pro, with an insane portability factor. I actually made my 11-inch Pro (which was still great) because the extra 1.9 inches of space is a real game-changer!”
On sale for $199 (down from $299) — its lowest price ever — the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air (4th generation) and 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation) is a handy iPad accessory that essentially transforms the professional level tablet into a fast and powerful laptop with touchscreen. It even doubles as a protective case.
“This is by far the best accessory Apple has created,” exclaimed one delighted buyer. “The trackpad and illuminated keyboard are an exact replica of a MacBook, it has a tilting screen option, and not to mention it’s also a case! Changing the game for portability. Worth every penny!”
The first generation of the Apple Pencil – Amazon’s best-selling digital pen – is on sale for just $94. Designed for the first generation iPad Pro, it is also compatible with the sixth and seventh generation iPads. So if you want to draw or take handwritten notes with an entry-level iPad, the Apple Pencil can do it.
“It’s everything I dreamed of – it’s the first stylus I’ve used that looks like a pencil and works the same,” shared one happy buyer. “It’s really responsive and the iPad Pro’s palm rejection is so fantastic that I can use it natively in any app without any issues. I’ve been using the Pencil for about three weeks and it feels really natural in my hand unlike a stylus.”
