List of 5 iPhone Features That Will Make Your Life Easier

The iPhone has many features that can sometimes be overwhelming for many people. Apple’s smartphone is packed with countless useful features that, if you hadn’t heard of them, you might never find. In light of this, we’ve picked out ten great features that new and experienced iPhone users should use.

List of 5 iPhone Features That Will Make Your Life Easier

1. UNKNOWN CALLERS

You can entirely stop all incoming calls from spammers or unknown callers if you are tired of being interrupted by them. Scroll down and enable the “Silence unknown callers” setting after selecting “Phone” from the Settings menu.

When enabled, all incoming calls from phone numbers not in your contact list will be sent to voicemail unanswered. If your iPhone is unlocked, you will still be able to see silent notifications for calls.

2. CONTROL CENTER

With Control Center, you can easily access your screen brightness controls, Wi-Fi settings, system volume, and media playback.

Open Settings and select “Control Center” to customize Control Center. Here you can change Control Center shortcuts for tools like Apple TV Remote, Flashlight, Timer, Calculator, Low Power Mode, and more. It’s beneficial !

3. DO NOT DISTURB

When you don’t want to be interrupted, using Do Not Disturb mode (part of the “Focus” feature) is a great way to turn off all your notifications. In Settings > Focus or when using Control Center, you can set a schedule for it to turn on and off automatically, or you can turn it on yourself.

When turned on, your iPhone won’t vibrate or ring when a call comes in, and you won’t receive any notification alerts. Using the control center, you can turn it off instantly at any time.

4. airdrop

You can quickly transfer photos, videos and other files from your iPhone to nearby Apple device owners via AirDrop. You can find the AirDrop option in the share menu, and it works locally via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

To use it, tap the square with the arrow sticking out of it to open the share sheet in almost any app, then choose the AirDrop symbol, which looks like a collection of concentric circles with a carved corner. After selecting the recipient, your files will be transmitted wirelessly to the other device.

Once you get the hang of it, you’ll wonder why moving files between devices wasn’t as easy as using AirDrop, which needs to be enabled and configured properly on both devices.

5. LOW POWER MODE

By using Low Power Mode, you can extend the life of your battery if you find it’s running out of power before the end of the day. When Low Power Mode is on, your iPhone screen dims faster when idle, turns off background tasks, and dims the screen brightness.

Toggle “Low Power Mode”, switch to the position in Settings, touch “Battery”, then open the app. Additionally, you can create a Control Center shortcut that will easily switch between high and low power modes.
