QUICK MATHS

It is not necessary to open the calculator app! If you’re in a rush, just swipe right on your lock screen or swipe down from the home page to show the search bar. Then type in your calculations and your search function will reveal the answer.

On top of that, if you are already using the calculator app and typing big numbers, did you know that if you accidentally grope your way and type in the wrong number, you can swipe left on the numbers to erase the last one? that you typed.

ONE HAND KEYBOARD

If you’re missing out on the good old days of one-handed texting or just have one of the bigger iPhones, did you know you can turn your keyboard into a one-handed keyboard that’s so much easier to type?

You need to enable this feature by going to Settings> General> Keyboard> One-handed keyboard> then choose Left or Right. It will move your keyboard to either side of the screen to make it easier to reach. If that doesn’t work for you, just change it.

If you’ve written a ridiculously long text or email but for some reason decide to start all over again, did you know that you can just shake your iPhone to undo large chunks of typing at once? It’s much faster than holding your finger down on the Delete key until all the text slowly disappears. On top of that, if you just want to edit a sentence or two in the middle of your paragraph but find it difficult to get the cursor in the right place, you can press and hold your space bar then your finger will work as a cursor. . You’ll be able to drag your finger, much like you would on a trackpad, to easily and precisely move the cursor anywhere you want.

CHANGE THE SIZE OF YOUR BROWSER TEXT

Of course, you can easily pinch to zoom on your iPhone when browsing the web, but if you want to be able to read text easily every time, you can choose to make its default text size larger. When using Safari, click the little AA icon on the side of the bar where you search or usually enter a URL. When pressed you will then see another small letter A and a large letter A. Click on the large letter A to increase your browser’s default text size or you can also click on the smaller A to minimize the size by fault.
