The next iPad Air could be the first non-professional model to get the Magic Keyboard
The fourth-generation iPad Air is rumored to be borrowing heavily from the 11-inch iPad Pro. It would likely include a USB-C port in place of a Lightning port, a mini-LED display, and a sub-display variant of Touch ID. The TrueDepth camera likely won’t be included to keep the price from skyrocketing.
Famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions suggest that the new iPad Air will arrive in the second half of 2020. The screen would measure between 11 inches and 10.8 inches if reports have to pass.
The iPad Pro can magnetically attach to the Magic Keyboard and it also has a USB-C port for direct charging. It features a floating cantilever design that makes its viewing angle adjustable. More importantly, it’s not just a keyboard, but a stand as well, which means if you’re working at your desk and tucked away in your bed, it adapts accordingly.
