iPhone 14: On Wednesday, Apple is expected to show off its iPhone 14 lineup at its annual presentation in September.
The event produced with the slogan “Far Out” will take place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, and will be broadcast live on Apple’s website and social media platforms.
The cost of the new Cupertino models is still unknown, especially at a time when soaring inflation has raised concerns of an impending recession. Insiders are predicting a price increase for the latest iPhone 14 series, although it’s unclear by how much. However, one argument holds that even if Apple raises the price of its newer iPhones, the effect on consumers’ wallets will be negligible. According to some estimates, Apple will increase the cost of the iPhone 14 Pro series by $100.
The good news for Apple is its dedicated, wealthy customers who can afford the higher sticker costs of new iPhones despite consumers not being as wealthy as they were before the pandemic.
Apple has reportedly asked its suppliers to produce at least 90 million units, despite analysts’ worst forecasts for the economy. This indicates that Cupertino anticipates the same level of demand for the iPhone 14 as it did for the iPhone 13 last year. Wedbush Securities analysts estimate that 240 million of the world’s 1 billion iPhone customers have not changed phones in more than three and a half years, suggesting there will be considerable demand for the iPhone 14.
When Apple showcases its new lineup at Apple Park, we expect to see four versions of the iPhone 14. It’s estimated that Apple will likely stop making the “small” model with a 5.4-inch screen this year. The new “Max” or “Plus”, or whatever name Apple decides to give the gadget, will likely replace the “mini”. Between the cheaper “Pro” variant and the regular iPhone will be the 6.7-inch model. Expect the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max to include an improved front camera, longer battery life, and a slightly upgraded version of the current A15 processor.

Upgrades to the A16 processor, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens (down from 12-megapixel), an improved ultra-wide-angle lens with larger pixels, and possibly a new telephoto lens with bigger zoom are all slated for releases. Pro. Apple is rumored to include an astrophotography feature in the upcoming iPhone 14, which appears to be hinted at in the “Far out” invite. Instead of the notch, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will both have a pill-shaped cutout on the screen.
A feature that’s been available on Android phones for years could eventually be added by Apple to the Pro line for notifications. The high-end iPhone 14 may also have a Cupertino satellite connectivity option, but that would only be useful in an emergency.
At its “Far out” event, Apple is also most likely to unveil the second-generation AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro 2 may get new styling, lossless audio capabilities, and other improvements. Since the launch of the initial AirPods Pro model in 2019, Apple has not released a new version. Sales of true wireless headphones are skyrocketing, but Apple is under pressure from well-known brands like Sony and Bose and low-cost competitors like BoAt and Noise in India.
Apple will also discuss iOS 16, which was first revealed in June and has been in testing for months, at the event. In mid-September, Apple usually releases the most recent iOS update alongside the launch of new iPhones.

Do we have to pay even more this time? Here is the answer
Considering the aforementioned economic factors, a price increase for the iPhone 14 Pro series is very likely. Well-known Apple expert Ming Chi-Kuo also said he expects Apple to increase the cost of its Pro series. Costs will likely increase if Apple includes the more advanced camera, new pill-shaped notch display, and other upgrades.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will undoubtedly cross the $1,000 threshold if the average selling price (ASP) increases by 15%. Dan Ives, an analyst at Wedbush, predicted a $100 price increase for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. That means the iPhone 14 Pro could start at $1100 and the iPhone Pro Max at $1199. He predicts that the base iPhone 14 will continue to cost the same as last year.
