In 2022, Apple has a big list of devices to launch. According to insider knowledge, aka Bloomberg, Apple plans to release three iPad models namely iPad Pro, iPad Air, and a standard iPad with new features.
In a newsletter column, Mark Gurman said that of the three new models, only the iPad Pro 2022 will have a new design and come equipped with wireless charging technology. The new MagSafe wireless charging will be a very handy feature for users.
The basic or vanilla variant of the iPad will have the A13 Bionic chipset, True Tone, and an ultra-wide 12MP front camera with Center Stage video calling. This iPad is supposed to be an entry-level tablet. It is said to be thinner but with a larger LCD screen. But from the experience of all these years with Apple, the changes to the iPad’s A13 chipset won’t be that drastic.
As for the iPad Mini, rumors say that it will be equipped with the A15 Bionic chipset, 5G connectivity and the Center Stage 12MP front camera.
We’re still a fortnight into the New Year, so there’s plenty of time to go until release. This is just one of the many rumors we will hear. Different specs and features that we will be hearing about in the coming months. According to Apple’s ritual, the first look reveal will be mid-year at the traditional WWDC event, or it may be delayed due to the prevailing pandemic.
